Cask Strength

Nose without Water Rich spicy aromas of cinnamon and clove initially. Fruitcake notes - rum soaked raisin and clementine - lead to oak and a hint of beeswax polish. Palate without Water Pepper is followed by rich orange marmalade and dark chocolate. Spices are still present and complement stewed date flavours. Toasted oak and ground coffee combine at the end with a touch of liquorice. Nose with Water Sweet Sherry aromas dance with festive spices and demerara sugar. Dried cherry, fig, and melon notes develop alongside chocolate and charred oak. A fresh lemon peel edge is present. Palate with Water Spicy with stewed plum initially, followed by orange marmalade and chocolate flavours. Raisins and hints of crystallised ginger lead to a charred oak edge. Body Medium. Finish Long and spicy with lingering stewed fruits.
